Report a Calculator Error
A wrong result is the most useful thing you can send me. Each report is checked against the published source for that formula, and a confirmed error is fixed in both the calculator and its explanation.
A report can be checked much faster when it includes these four details.
- The name of the calculator or the address of its page.
- Every value you entered, with its unit.
- The result the calculator showed.
- The result you expected, and the textbook or reference it comes from.
Suggest a Calculator
If you looked for a physics calculator here and did not find it, tell me what it should work out and where you would use it. Requests from coursework, lab work and real projects help decide which calculators are built next.
Questions About a Formula
You are welcome to ask why a calculator uses a certain equation, constant or assumption. I can explain the method and point you to the source, such as the CODATA value for a constant or the textbook section for a derivation.
I cannot approve a design or give professional engineering, electrical, medical or safety advice. Work of that kind needs a qualified professional and the code or standard that applies where you are.
Who You Are Writing To
PhysicsTool is a one-person project. I’m Manoj Meena, and I hold an M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Delhi. You can read how the calculators are built and sourced on the About page.
